VNC Connection

Remote Access - execution

Once installed, the VNC program adds an icon in the System Tray (bottom right by the Time):

When we are ready to start a remote support session you can allow us access to your machine as follows ..

1. To initiate the session, right-click on the VNC icon in the System Tray and select 'Add New Client'.

2. An 'Add new client' window opens. Enter the IP Address we give you and click OK:

We should now be able to take over your machine.

If you are unable to see icon in system tray

Follow instructions below:

  • Start Menu
  • All Programs
  • Real VNC
  • VNC Server 4 (Service Mode)
  • Start VNC Service
  • vnc start menu:



    VNC icon will now be in System Tray (bottom right by the Time). Follow instructions to 'Add New Client'
